What you’ll need to succeed as a Senior Specialist, Front End Audit at XPOMinimum qualifications:2 years of experience in accounting, invoicing or freight audit2 years of experience in OTC, accounts receivable or accounts payableExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesCritical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesClear and concise verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with customers, associates and management in a professional mannerPreferred qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experienceExperience researching data and root cause analysis for discrepanciesPrior experience in freight transportation or logistics environmentProficient computer skills with emphasis on Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft OfficeDemonstrated ability to follow up, multitask, and prioritizeAbility to work independently and as a team with shared responsibilitiesPrevious experience evaluating customer contractsPrevious experience analyzing data to make recommendationsAbout the Senior Specialist, Front End Audit jobPay, benefits and more:Competitive compensation packageFull health insurance benefits are available on day oneLife and disability insuranceEarn up to 13 days of PTO over your first year9 paid company holidays401(k) option with company matchEducation assistanceWhat you’ll do on a typical day:Determine root cause of disputes and report process deficiencies and needed improvements; thus, driving resolution and reducing out of period correctionsCreate processes and make recommendations to prevent future billing discrepanciesAudit customer accounts to ensure proper assignment in the Customer Information System platform based on specific customer requirementsEnsure compliance with SOX audit requirementsPerform analytical thinking to audit pros that are unrated (XCWZ Manual queue) and billed using our default rating tariffReview customer pricing agreements and XPO’s internal tariff for accuracyProcess corrections using the correct Description and CategoryCollaborate with Collections on disputes and provide feedback on audit findings using GetPaidPrepare and submit coding requestsMake phone calls to internal and external customers to ensure accurate billing on unrated prosPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure that accounts are set up accuratelyPerform other duties or ad hoc assignments as neededAbout XPOXPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services, with a highly integrated network of people, technology and physical assets.
