POSITION SUMMARY McCarthy Building Companies is looking for skilled Interior Carpenters for an exciting project in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will install/set up wall protection, doors, drywall, framing, wall accessories, ICRA, hardware, etc. The ideal candidate has 4 years minimum of proven experience as an interior carpenter in large construction sites and possess excellent carpentry skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Complete Task Hazard Analysis (THA) logs daily
- Plan and execute work with minimum supervision
- Recognize hazards and danger zones
- Actively participate in demo activities
- Properly read and interpret blueprints
- Install wall protection
- Properly set up ICRA partitions (installation, inspection, and maintenance)
- Install wall accessories
- Wall framing and drywall installation
- Door and door hardware installation
- Safely and properly set door frames
- Assist with acoustic ceiling installation
- Assist with removable partition installation
- Assist other trades when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS - Prior experience with self-perform interior work (installing doors, accessories, hardware, wall protection, drywall, framing, etc.) in large commercial projects
- Identify and properly use materials, hand, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.)
- Understand construction terminology and basic math
- Understand level, plumb, square, area, and volume concepts
- Basic lay out experience (transfer levels, off sets, set points etc.)
- Proven commitment to Safety
- Work in an organized manner
- Able to work night shifts when needed
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds
- Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Minimum age 18+
